Getting Started
Use the portal as a guided study path: • Learn phrases in Parts 1–3 • Study characters in Reading Aid and Frequency Deck • Practice in Kana Dojo and Kanji Hub • Follow the 90-Day Tracker and Study Plan • Reduce romaji over time. Small daily practice is more effective than occasional marathon sessions.

Think in Japanese: Character Reading Aid, Part 4

A deduped writing and reading aid built only from the 300 phrases in Parts 1–3. Sorted by contextual romaji reading, with character type, frequency, and an example from your study sheets.

Important: Hiragana and katakana readings are direct. Kanji entries use the reading found in the actual phrase. When a word has an inseparable whole-word reading—such as 今日 (kyou), 明日 (ashita), or 美味しい (oishii)—the card labels it as a word reading instead of assigning a misleading syllable to one kanji.
